This is my second scenery project for FS9, and the first where I've actually edited buildings rather than just changing afcads and landclasses. The scenery covers the Verde Valley area of northern Arizona, and includes the airports at Cottonwood, Montezuma, Rimrock, Williams, and Valle. Sedona, Flagstaff and Grand Canyon are planned for a future release.
If you're an FSEconomy pilot, drop by my FBOs at Cottonwood or Montezuma! Additionally, if you would like your home airport or area rescenerised, I am for hire. Drop me a pm on the FSE forums.
- Rebuilt AFCADs, with more accurate taxiways, aprons, lights, markings, and parking places.
- Removed automatic refueling triggers.
- Replaced default airport buildings with accurate(ish) hangars and terminals.
- Added static aircraft models.
- Added AI traffic (default FS9 aircraft).
- Landclassing and exclusion (eg, adding nearby towns, removal of trees on approach paths) in the area surrounding the airports.
- Editvoicepack import file.
Download Here (Avsim) and the 1.1 Update Here (Avsim). Please see the Update's readme for important information on avoiding memory leaks.
The only additional files required are the standard Rwy12 object libraries, available from Avsim.
Here are some comparison pictures of the airports included (note; some of these pictures may show work in progress).
